“Four of every five Africans are dependent on Agriculture for their livelihood” “Only two of every five Africans understand what climate change is, and even less understand how it will affect them” Source: archives AFREDECC  Desertification The African Center for Research, Development and Climate Change is both a production and service providing non-governmental organisation. Primarily we do a lot of sensitization on climate change, its socio-economic impact and how it will affect development in Africa. The organization also provides solutions on how to cope with the effects of climate change, and advocates the protection of our environment. We encourage development that does not threaten the future of our planet, whether it’s educational, infrastructural, political or economical. Due to the lack of knowledge on climate change and Global Warming in Africa we need to do a lot of Research which will enable us to really evaluate and adequately sensitize the population on climate change issues.
