Projects for 2008

1. PRODUCTION OF AUDIO-VISUAL PROGRAMS ON CLIMATE CHANGE AND GLOBAL WARMING.
This project will basically be sensitization of the population on climate change and development.We will seek to advice a country which is aspiring to develop like Cameroon on the type of development that will not come at a very drastic cost to our climate. We will invite scientist, economist, politicians and other expatriates to give their solutions and expert advice on how to tackle the immense problem of balancing the development of the country with a safe environment. This project is very important because of the level of awareness in our community to climate change issues and the pressing need for Africa to be developed. We will host programs on both private and public Radio and also on National Radio and TV.

2. TRAINING OF STAFF THROUGH SEMINARS, EVENTS AND CONFERNCES.
This project will professionalize our staffs. The basis of effective work is professionalism and knowledge.It is very important for us to get the required training and experience Attending training programs and conferences teaches a lot in a short time and the fore will better arm the organization to achieve its objectives.

3. CONSTRUCTION OF AN ARTS GALLERY.
The construction of an Arts Gallery in limbe is a principal objective for this year. This will provide a platform were local artist can exhibit their works.Also the art arts gallery will improve tourism, expose the local artists, generate revenue without risking the environment, provide an income generating avenue for the N.G.O and also development in the form of tourism is one of those forms of development that we encourage amongst many others.

4. ORGANISE A SEMINAR FOR JOURNALIST ON IMPACT REPORTING ON CLIMATE CHANGE.
This will enable journalist to be able to create the type of impact on climate change which we need as we are of the school of thought that politicians don't necessarily think beyond the next election and the people who can create the type of impact and who have created any kind of impact are mostly journalist. so we feel it will be and important achievement to organize an event of this nature.

5. CREATE ADVOCACY GROUPS FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE AFRICAN RAINFOREST.
 This project is very important because of the damage that is being done to the large rainforest in Cameroon and most of central Africa.Considerable exploitation is being carried out in the rainforest if things do carry on at this rate without proper check and replanting of trees then the earth would loose a great deal of its beauty in the long run, and it is something that is very bad for the environment.
