Can you help LINK continue to 'MAKE A DIFFERENCE' ?

Many people depend on LINK for good neighbour support.

Doing just one LINK task a week can help to ensure we carry on the good work.

We need more volunteers urgently.

CAN YOU HELP?

Phone: 07970 617 617 now and 'make a difference' today

How to become a volunteer

The beauty of becoming a LINK volunteer is complete flexibility. You can say how much time you can give, when you would like to give it, and which of the wide range of 'good neighbour' tasks LINK offer you would like to help with.

It's a way of being involved with the local community, but on your terms. The satisfaction and enjoyment resulting? - well you only have to ask any of our volunteers.

It's a simple process:

  1. Ring the LINK number, 07970 617 617
  2. Fill in a single sheet application form which I will send you.
  3. Give us 2 references, people other than family who have known you for a while, 2 pass port photos and sight of your driving licence and insurance.
  4. Receive the LINK information pack (procedures, donation envelopes, hospital parking Info, maps, helpline etc) during home visit by me and LINK secretary.
  5. Agree with me details of your availability to give to co-ordinators. Off you go with your LINK photo ID badge.

Qualifications:
Reliability and discretion in preserving the absolute confidentiality of our
clients.

Benefits:
It's a great group of people to be working with, the appreciation of our clients is wonderful. So is the food at the annual volunteer's lunch!

I look forward to hearing from you or any of your local friends soon.

Val Martin. Volunteer Co-ordinator
