Credit Worker

Credit Worker is a free double entry accounting program written for use by Credit Unions, and features :-
  • Simple data entry facilities for members share deposits, loan repayments, and nominal account transactions.
  • Loan interest calculation on a monthly or daily basis.
  • Members reports of account balances, transactions and loans. Separate reporting of different categories of members (juniors, by collection points etc.) with a maximum of 99,999 members.
  • Nominal accounts reports of transactions, trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet and budget variances.
  • Statistical reports of the distribution of loans granted, delinquency, and insurable loans and savings.
  • Bank statement reconciliation facility.
  • Year end processing, and dividend allocation to members based on their average share holding for the year. Different dividend allocation % rates can be applied to different categories of members.
  • Comprehensive four level security system, with personal passwords, and with all transactions and reports stamped with the operator's initials.
  • Branch Collection Services program for creating disc files of members transactions at remote branches to be sent on floppy disc or via the Internet as e-mail attachments for processing centrally by Credit Worker.
  • Accepts members deposits and loan repayments from computerised payroll systems.
  • Network aware, supporting up to 15 concurrent workstations on a network.
  • Integrated backup and restore of compressed data files.
  • Integrated loan calculator.
  • Credit Worker trainer with sample data of a 188 member Credit Union.

When you have downloaded Credit Worker on to your hard disc (eg C:\), execute the program cwsetup.exe which will install this version of Credit Worker.

If you are updating from an earlier version of Credit Worker then be sure to install this version into the same directory as the earlier version, so that you can use your existing data.

Notes
  1. Credit Worker runs under Windows 95 or later.
     
  2. The default password is CW1 which should be changed when you implement Credit Worker.
     
  3. When you install Credit Worker, Trainer will also be created and loaded with sample data. To use Trainer, click on Start, Programs, Credit Worker 32, and Trainer.

After 12 years of reliable service to Credit Unions, Credit Worker is now no longer developed or supported. It is still available on an "as is" basis without any warrantee of fitness for purpose.
