Life Skills Development Programme

Objectives:
The objective of the programme is to improve lives and society through the teaching of responsible behaviour. This programme is an integral part of GLOWA's activities.

Execution:
The programme runs in corporation with most activities and separately. Youth Groups are created in selected institutions and partnership negotiated with existing groups for their involvement in out reach activities to teach various life skills. Frequently organized out reach activities include sports, excursions, etc during which youths come in contact with local and/or national role models. Other community activities that bring people together could be used to distribute and share educative information.
Periodically GLOWA shares information and deliver educative talks with partner youth groups. Our staffs would visit them during meeting session and deliver a talk on a chosen theme for the month. Family life education is also offered to young couples
Educative materials like posters, tracks, banners stickers etc could be designed by GLOWA or another organisation. In the past GTZ Cameroon, National Commission on Human Rights and Freedoms of Cameroon and the Union of North West Human Organizations - UNOWHURO have been particularly helpful.

Beneficiaries:
Direct beneficiaries of the project are the entire community. However young couples are particularly targeted for family life and youths for responsible
