Hands for Children was founded and registered as a non-profit Community Based Organization in Soroti Uganda. It was established with a mandate to help and support disadvantaged children, sustain livelihoods and human rights for the vulnerable children of the community.
The vulnerable children may be orphaned, neglected, school dropouts, child soldiers, formerly abducted children by L.R.A., abandoned or simply living in acute poverty and are frequently affected by the ravages of HIV/AIDS.
The projects are in Katine subcounty 29kms from Soroti Town- Soroti district Mid east Uganda.

The organisation works with children, education, vocational skills, livelihoods construction of classrooms and health of children.
